Our Philosophy

We adopted the Creative curriculum for early childhood. The philosophy behind FBC CHILD CARE CENTER’S curriculum is that every moment of a child is an opportunity to learn and children learn best by doing. This requires active thinking and experimenting to find out how things work and to learn firsthand about the world we live in.

AGES AND STAGES

  • Infants : Birth – 18 Months
  • Toddlers : 18 Months – 36 Months
  • Pre-Schoolers : 3 Years – 5 Years
  • School Age : 5 Years – 14 Years

The center is open year-round from 6:00 am to 7 pm Monday through Friday. The Center will be closed to observe the following holidays:

  • New Year’s Day
  • Good Friday (for Easter)
  • Memorial Day
  • Fourth of July
  • Labor Day
  • Thanksgiving Day
  • The day after Thanksgiving
  • Christmas Eve and Christmas Day
  • The center will also close on the 3rd Friday in August for teacher in-service training.
